"Bags came out quicker than I expected"
I always kind of watch for patterns with baggage claim, like whether bags from certain flights take forever or come out right away. This time, mine showed up fast after landing, which was a nice surprise. Everything looked handled well too, no dents, nothing missing, and no signs of rough treatment. Overall, smooth experience.

"Pretty decent fare when booked ahead"
I booked on philippineairlines.com for a Manila to Cebu flight. Nothing fancy. Just needed a decent schedule and a price that didn’t feel ridiculous. The fare was fair enough, not super cheap, but baggage was already included, so that helped. Some budget options looked cheaper at first, then the add-ons started piling up.
The site was okay. A little slow when I got to payment, which made me nervous for a minute, but it went through fine. For what I paid, I thought it was worth it. Simple trip, no big issues. I’d probably use them again if the fare looks good.

"Better Meals Than I Expected"
I flew with Philippine Airlines last week, and to be honest, I felt a bit pressured going into the flight because I was tired, hungry, and kind of expecting the usual disappointing airplane food. But the chicken with rice actually surprised me. It was warm, had decent flavor, and wasn’t dry like I thought it might be.

The portion was enough for me, and the dessert felt like a nice little bonus. I also had coffee, which wasn’t anything special, but it was fine and helped me stay awake for the rest of the trip.

The crew served everything quickly, which I appreciated because I was already feeling a little rushed and stressed from traveling. Overall, for in-flight food, I was happy with it and I’d fly with them again.

"Cancellation rules are all over the place"
I had to cancel my flight, and the whole process was way more frustrating than it needed to be. The rules weren’t clear at all, and every time I checked somewhere different, I seemed to get a different answer about what I could do and how much it would cost.

Customer support took a while to respond too, which just made it more stressful. I understand airlines have policies, but when the information keeps changing depending on who you ask, it feels really unfair for a regular customer just trying to figure things out.

"Flight updates could’ve been clearer, right?"
My flight ended up getting delayed, and I feel like the update came way later than it should have. The staff were nice enough when I asked what was going on, so it wasn’t a total mess, but the emails and alerts were kind of vague. Maybe it’s just me, but when travel plans change, clearer updates would make things a lot less stressful.

My card got charged, but the booking didn’t show up right away, which was really frustrating. I ended up having to call support, and every time I asked what was going on, it felt like the goalposts kept moving. First it was just a delay, then they needed more time, then I had to wait for another update. It eventually got sorted, but the whole thing was way more stressful than it needed to be

"Routes are decent, but why so limited sometimes?!"
Philippine Airlines has decent route options, especially if you're flying around Asia. But some destinations I actually need either don’t have direct flights or only have a few schedule choices, which can be frustrating. It works out fine sometimes, but i just wish there were more options?!

"Seat was just okay"
I flew with Philippine Airlines the seat was average. Legroom was fine for a short flight, but the cushion started feeling kinda hard after a bit. It wasn’t awful or anything, I just thought it would be a little more comfortable. Probably fine if you’re not flying too long...

"Booking was a total mess"
The whole booking process was just a mess. I kept thinking it would get sorted, then something else would pop up, and it was just frustrating from start to finish. Maybe other people have had better luck, but for me, no thanks, I wouldn’t book again.

Flew with Philippine Airlines recently the cabin was cleaner than I expected. My seat, tray table, and even the window area looked like they’d been wiped down, which I def appreciated. The bathroom stayed okay for most of the flight too. Not totally perfect, but overall decent. I’d give it 4 stars for cleanliness

Boarding was a mess. It should be such a simple thing, but at the gate it felt way more complicated than it needed to be. There were no clear lines, the staff kept changing which groups were supposed to board, and soon everyone was just crowding around trying to figure out what was happening. It felt really unorganized and poorly handled

"Really professional cabin crew"
I had a really good flight with Philippine Airlines. I’ll admit I can get impatient quickly when things feel disorganized, but the cabin crew were calm, polite, and clearly knew what they were doing. A few passengers needed extra help, and they handled it smoothly without making everyone wait around forever or turning it into a big scene. The service was simple, but they were attentive the whole time. I felt safe and taken care of, and I’d definitely fly with them again...

"Entertainment was kinda dissapointing"
I flew with Philippine Airlines recently, and the in-flight entertainment was a let down. The screen was really slow, and the touch controls barely worked unless I pressed on it hard, which got annoying fast.

The movie selection also felt kind of outdated, and there wasn’t a whole lot to choose from. A couple of the shows had weird sound issues too, so I gave up on watching after a while.

The staff were nice and the flight itself was okay, but for a long trip I really expected better entertainment. I mostly just ended up using my phone instead, which was not really what I planned...

I’ve flown with Philippine Airlines before and generally had a decent experience, so I expected getting help with a simple flight detail change to be straightforward. Unfortunately, I’ve been trying to call their customer service for two days now and still can’t get through. The line either drops or leaves me on hold forever, no matter what time I try. It’s really frustrating when you just need quick help and there doesn’t seem to be an actual person available. I still like the airline overall, but their call center experience really needs improvement
